P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School is a publicly funded K-12 institution affiliated with the University of Florida's College of Education. The school is unique in its ability to design, test and disseminate innovations in K-12 education to a diverse community of students.
The Phase II expansion in particular involves the development of a 75,000 square foot secondary school building, featuring a variety of non-traditional learning spaces, to house P.K. Yonge's middle and high school students. The new building incorporates community-style spaces that support collaboration, flexibility and mobility, as well as individual work.
