At O'Steen Brothers, we offer an array of quality materials suitable for various projects. Acher fill dirt, landscape rocks, topsoil, lime rock, and landfill cover are just some of the products available to the public.
O'Steen Brothers has developed a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to our operations. From our 572 acres of land, we have mined about 85 acres in almost 25 years of the pits existence, making it nearly 30-35 feet deep at its deepest point. The remaining unmined land is currently being seeded with pine trees. Our products are used by clients across industries, while the pit is open to the public for purchase of such materials.
At O'Steen Brothers, we adopted responsible, sustainable practices in business long before they became popular. We've salvaged, reused and recycled materials to save our clients money while reducing our environmental impact. For instance, recycled concrete is repurposed into gravel for use in a variety of projects; accumulated asphalt is used to create roads on the pit site; lime rock is reused as a base mineral for necessary projects; and sandy clay has been salvaged to build riding arenas and horse barns throughout North Central Florida. We strive to be good stewards of the environment who demonstrate our commitment through meaningful action.
We pride ourselves on being good neighbors to our community and responsible to our environment.
