O’Steen Brothers has started work on the West University project in partnership with Arco Murray.

908 Group is developing a new multifamily apartment community project on University Avenue which will consist of two separate buildings. One building is located along West University Avenue will be a six-story mixed-use building, and the northern building will be four stories. The new apartment complex will feature about 220 units and 600 bedrooms.

The northern building will have residential units wrapped around a parking garage, and the southern building will have ground-level parking, first-floor nonresidential use and will have multifamily residential units above.

The Swamp restaurant will be part of the new development.
